About Laurie

PERSONAL

As well as her formal education, Laurie also draws on her life experience as a mother of three grown daughters and now as a grandmother, to help her clients navigate through challenging life issues.  Aside from work, Laurie loves being outdoors, hiking or running with her dog.

CREDENTIALS

Laurie obtained her Bachelor of Child and Youth Care and her Masters in Counseling Psychology at the University of Victoria. She has many years experience working in a variety of settings throughout greater Victoria, including working on mental health teams, for non-profit agencies, in the school system, and in private practice. Given her breadth of experience, Laurie understands a wide range of mental health concerns and issues. Laurie can assist you in overcoming challenges related to:

This is best reflected in Laurie’s ability to create a comprehensive and personalized counseling experience that offers a variety of tools and resources to move you through fears, anxiety and other concerns in a safe and supportive environment.
